The Terrarossa farmhouse situated in Umbria, the green heart of Italy, is in a hillside position ( 200 m alt) dominating the Mid -Tiber valley with vies to Perugia, Assisi, Todi, to name a few of the beautiful Umbrian towns.
The farmhouse has recently been restored carefully respecting the traditional architectural features of the region. The French proprietor has adapted part of the first floor into two independent apartments from which there is a magnificent outlook onto the pre Apennines and have restored the outhouse with outlook into the garden.
On the warm July evenings before harvest-time, one can watch the fascinating dance of glow-worms, a true sign of the still unpolluted nature of the aera.
The swimming pool is surrounded by woodland and offers the guests a refreshing break after a day’s visit to the nearby medieval towns, such as Perugia (35 km), Orvieto ( 40km), Todi (9 km), Montefalco (20 km), Assisi (30km), to name few, to admire the frescoes of Gothic and Renaissance artists (from Giotto to Perugino).
